- Circa 1930s / 1940s
- Shimmering satin fabric (I believe the fabric is silk but I'm not 100% certain)
- Solid cream color
- Grecian inspired design
- Sleeveless cut
- High neck with floral lace along the cowl neck
- Draped bodice
- Empire waistline
- V-cut open back design
- Flowing floor length skirt that is cut on the bias
- Snap buttons and a hook and eye up the left side of waist
- Buttons down the back of the spine
*Note: we recommend this dress for someone with a shorter torso. Our model is 5’10 modern dress size 2-4, 33-25-35 with a longer torso. The waistline a little high on her for this particular dress.
Good vintage condition for its age: the most noticeable area is on the bodice with some pea size markings just above the center waist seam; 3” light mark on the right side of skirt right around the right hip and similar long thin spot near the knee and bottom hem (I'm guessing from a beverage spill); back of the skirt has a couple of pinhead tears, see photos.
