***Here is some interesting history on this label (via vintagefashionguild.org): J.W. Robinson Co. was a Los Angeles department store that dated from 1883 until it merged with May in 1993. At that time the store was Robinsons-May and consisted of several stores. The chain was bought by Federated and in 2006 they began converting the stores to Macy’s.
CONDITION
As-is vintage condition, wounded bird but very wearable: construction of the dress is in excellent condition; some small markings on the bodice; skirt has large areas of light water-like rings throughout the fabric.
